The Shopping Spree

Just came back from KL yesterday and had flight delayed. My dad reached Kuching almost at the same time with him. We spend a night together. In spite of the flight delay, the nice dinner at Kingwood compensate all the dissatisfaction of the day.

Anyhow, I had a great blast shopping in IKEA, ONE UTAMA and Mid Valley the whole Saturday! Yay!

It's my first time shopping in One U and I never thought it was so big. Really thank Grace Ng, Bibiana, and Yee Siew for accompanying me for the day. They were great. They found one another and enjoy each other's company. Enjoyed to know that they can get along pretty well though they never met before. The mission was all accomplished within an hour or so in ONE U.

Bought the wedding shoes in BLAY for RM150++

And the wedding ring for RM1700++. Will only collect it in a week time for re-sizing purpose

There was a story behind going to KL. Im suppose to shop for my wedding dress in De Paris. Since I got an offer to rent the dress for RM800 when I was there for their Expo and I've committed RM300 as a deposit. Liley was there with me.

But then, Tim decided that it's easier to get it local and get a wedding package. After 8 bridal houses hunt, we've found The Veil and we have Shen as our photographer for the pre-wedding shots. The package offered was a good deal. Different from typical studio offers, the concept was contemporary and I love it! Do check them out.

So the RM300, is ready to be burnt, or maybe can get other deals with the non-refundable deposit.

(1) Flight - Nearest airport is Sibu. There are direct flights from KL-Sibu. Sibu to Sarikei is 1-hour drive by taxi, bus or i can go pick you. Check out www.airasia.com or www.mas.com.my

The Honeymoon

One of the very reasons why I love Tim so much is because he's so efficient in this. We manage to book our flight, return ticket for 2, Kuching-KL-Bali-KL-Kuching ONLY for RM112!!! Means we can spend more on the wedding..... hehehe...=D

Tim book the flight till 3am, while I was snoring away on my bed. You know, when AirAsia make such promotion, everyone is hyped! Poor Tim, hope he can survived his classes today.

Indeed the best thing in life is free. Thanks to AirAsia!

The Proposal Story

Hey Guys, since most of you are asking about how he proposed...... well....

No one ever knows that he gonna proposed that way. If you know Tim, he's more on the introvert than extrovert like me. We are totally 2 different person and somehow God put us together and the great thing is we blend well in this relationship. It's more than just a relationship, it's the commitment we gave to one another.

It's a Sunday morning and he was leading the worship. I played the piano during the service as well. Like any other Sundays, the norm is, after worship, we collect offering, we listen to sermon and the end, the announcement. All I had in my mind is just to go back and have lunch. And plus, during the church announcement my vision was quite blurry and I told Tim that I might need a pair of glasses.

As I was telling that, he was telling me that his heart his beating so fast and I had no idea what is he talking about. The announcement is over and we closed in prayer. As I opened my eyes, I saw the power point presentation in front of the church writes "Amy, will you marry me? Love, Tim." I was shocked!! At first, I thought I read it wrong because of my blurry vision, but, it's true. And I said "YES!"

He approached my parents a few days before he did it. My dad kinda told me a little bit about it and I asked him but he denied. The little leak of information from my dad still gives me the surprise

That's how he proposed.
